From the towering firs to the tiniest blossom, my goal is to bring nature’s tapestry to life through my lens.
My passion lies in showcasing the endless biodiversity and variety of biological processes that make our planet thrive. Let me transport you to a world where you can witness the majesty of nature through my eyes.
It’s easy to see the beauty in a sweeping landscape. But what I love to capture the most are the little details, the things we so often overlook. That’s the thing about nature: the closer you look, the more there is to see.
Warning: beautiful forests ahead.
Forests (and trees particularly) are my favourite subjects. Why?
Trees are one the longest-lived and largest organisms on the planet. They are primary ecosystem engineers, meaning they create habitat for millions of other species. As they photosynthesize, they turn massive amounts of CO2 in the atmosphere into wood — alone, forests are thought account for 60% of terrestrially sequestered carbon. This makes forests invaluable in the fight against climate change.

Hi! My name's Meghan - but you can call me Meg.
I know photography can make people fall in love with nature, because it happened to me. When I first picked up my camera, I found myself wondering: why does this plant grow here and not there? Why do those birds start talking to each other when I get near?
These questions drove me to study biology. In particular, I’m interested in evolution - the study of how and why species became who they are today, and who they might (or might not) become tomorrow.
What I’ve learned over the course of my studies (both in school and behind the lens) is that while some questions get answered, others inevitably pop up. The exploration never stops.
So let’s explore together.
Step into a world of wonder.
